Two main things that can make a computer works properly is hardware and software. Those two things are two main components of a computer which work complementary. Hardware is the physical parts of computer like the hard disk, RAM or Random Access Memory and also video and sound card, while software is the part of a computer which you cannot see but still holds important role to make your computer working.

To be able to synchronize the hardware with the software or people usually called the OS or operating System, the hardware should be synchronized by using the hardware’s driver. The driver is software needed by the hardware to be able to work properly in a certain operating system. When you are buying new hardware like a sound card for your computer, you should find a CD of the sound driver in the case, but if you don’t find it, don’t worry, you can have open the hardware’s website and find the driver download section.

Different operating system has different driver, so you have to know what your operating system before you buy hardware or download the driver to your computer. Windows drivers cannot be installed in other types of operating system like Linux, and vice versa.
