I’ve never really used the internet much and I only have a laptop at home, but I didn’t want to be without it as I find it really useful for things like booking train tickets or quickly looking up information and emailing friends. When my friend suggest I get mobile broadband as a replacement for my phone line service I went online and did a bit of research.
I eventually stumbled upon sites that compare broadband in the same way that other sites online compare holidays and insurance. I don’t quite have the money to go on holiday this year but I’ve used such sites in the past and I’ve found them useful, so I thought I’d give it a go comparing the cheapest broadband deals online as well.
The site showed me every deal available from simple cheap broadband packages to free laptop with mobile broadband offers, and even better it explained what all the jargon and advertising stuff actually means, which is very useful when you’re not really into the internet and just want to use it casually. I found out a great deal about the contract length and what to look out for in the small print, and using the site itself to sort the deals by price I felt much more confident about switching my broadband over. Even better, I’m going to be saving about £100 a year over my old package!
